Agate Fossil Beds

Check out the fossils of historic extinct animals that roamed around the panhandle of Nebraska thousands of years ago. Agate Fossil Beds is located off HWY 29 north of Mitchell, Nebraska. This is a great place to take a walk down a pathway and for kids to learn about the history of fossils.
