Big Lots

My friend and I went to Big Lots today. I think I have only been there one other time. I was in awe of how much stuff they carry and at a wide variety. They are like a smaller version of walmart. They were also having a sale so all the check out lanes went all the way to the back of the store.

There were so many things that I really wanted, however I am learning to only buy things that I really actually need. After all, there really is a difference between want and need.

The only thing I was not impressed with at the store was their prices. Based on all their advertisements I thought they would have really great prices. Some of their stuff had better prices then other stores, but on some things in the store I wish it was cheaper than the marked price.

Being Crafty

I had the whole day off on Thursday. So I decided to go to Hobby Lobby and find something crafty to do for the day. They had a lot of stuff on sale. I also like all the cute colorful flowers they had, I really like the girly bright colors. My favorite color to use is yellow.

I decided to get these butterflies and paint some canvas to hang up in my room. I made one for me and one for my friend. I really enjoy doing crafts and I feel like each time I do one I get more creative at what I can make.

A Lazy Tuesday

I know that it is not the weekend, but I have to work all weekend this week. So today was kind of like a weekend day for me.

I got up about 9am, ate some Cinnamon Life cereal. Then I basically laid on the couch most of the day watching either Law and Order SVU or the Teen Mom Marathon. I also got to see Full House today; I didn’t even know they were still playing episodes of the shows.

I finally left the house for about an hour at 8pm and got back in time to see the new episode of Teen Mom!

Menards…

I have never been into Halloween or New Years Eve too much. I have never figured out my reasoning for it either. This year I think I am going to try and bring out a Halloween spirit in myself. I went to Menards yesterday with one of my friends and we discovered how many great things they have for Halloween. Their decorations were wowing me more than any other store I have been to for Halloween stuff. I can not wait to see what they have for Christmas decorations!

3rd day straight…

Today marks the third straight day of working out with my shake weight and I feel pretty good about it!  I can really feel the burn in my arms after just six minutes!

Today is the second day of working the Platte County Fair in Columbus, Nebraska.  As much as I love my job and like earning money, I kind of wish I could have more days off in the summer.  Sometimes I start to miss being away from my home and my own bed, but I don’t mind traveling to other places.  Next week I won’t be far away from home, in fact I will be in a second home of mine.  I will be working the Gage County Fair in Beatrice, Nebraska!
