I have enjoyed the seeing the E-trade baby commercials ever since the first time I saw one on television. The talking baby adds a well-thought about character to promote an investment company and that is a change compared to other investment company promotions. I think the creators have the intention that if a baby can use E-trade, then adults can use the company as well. The different themes in using the baby makes viewers, like myself, wanting to see the next commercial the company will produce. One way I believe it is effective is because, it is creative and has a good sense of humor.

One of my goals for the summer is to be healthier and eat healthier. I will admit I have gained about 20 pounds since college and my goal over the summer is lose it all!
Today, I pushed myself to the limit. I did not eat out at all, no fast food!
A few things I am learning to do:
1. Not eat out; it will save me a lot of money.
2. Drink more water and juice; less pop or no pop at all.
3. healthier foods; cutting back on all the sweets I eat.
Rainy days always get me down. I especially do not care for the cold rainy days as well and today is one of those colder rainy days. However, the rain is helping me to get me to stay inside and finish my homework. My next couple of weeks are crazy.
1. Test tomorrow
2. Next Wednesday: English Portfolio due
3. Final advertising assignment due next week
4. Wednesday May 5th: History Final and Political Science Final.
So much to do, so little time to get it done.
Hopefully I get the good grades I want in all my classes.
I will admit I have been a Jimmy Johns Junkie lately. I can not explain it because I just love the Turkey Tom that much! It is amazing and it smells better then some other sandwich shops!
These are my goals for this upcoming summer:
1. Work hard at my job
2. Rollerblade and Bike more
3. Save more money then what I spend
4. Eat less fried food
5. Drink less pop, Drink MORE WATER
6. Pass my two summer classes
7. Practice golfing more
8. Spend more time with family (especially my little cousins)
9. Read at least three books.
10. Get a really good tan.
These are just ten goals I would like to accomplish. I have many more in my head, but I think these are ones that I can achieve more than anything!
As summer approaches, I am getting anxious to begin a whole new summer tour for my job with the Nebraska Lottery. I work as an intern for the lottery, going to all the major events around Nebraska. I sell the general public lottery tickets and give out prizes. I have learned more than I had expected from working at this job for the past nine months and I am excited to learn more and be apart of a great company for the next year!
As this school year comes to a close, I am walking away with many memories and a head full of new knowledge. Things have fallen into place for the most part and everyday I am more eager to the fact of growing up and becoming an adult.
My name is Brandi and I am your average 22 year old college student. I attend the University of Nebraska at Lincoln and am I true and devoted Husker fan. My parents both attended college here and I have a number of other cousins, aunts, uncles and grandparents who have also went to school here. I am in my fourth year and last semester finalized my major in Advertising. Word of advice from the wise is to not choose a major when it is supposed to be your last year of college.
I am the kind of girl that likes to have fun. I feel like I always have to be doing something that is entertaining. I enjoy bike riding, riding horses, rollerblading, attending sporting events of any kind and socializing. I love meeting new people and I try to make it a point to meet one new person a day. I am very much a sun lover, the winters here in Nebraska can often annoy me, but I have learned to put up with them since I have lived in this state my entire life.
Some of my favorite things are: Law and Order:SVU, American Eagle, Coach Purses, Chocolate, Dr. Pepper, Traveling, Roadtripping, Wrestling, Football, Basketball, Baseball, Family, Friends, Rollerblading and summertime!
