Pine Valley Resort

Along highway 20 in Brown County you will see Pine Valley Resort. When most people think of forests they don’t typically think Nebraska. However, towards the western and northern panhandle, Nebraska has some of the prettiest forest and ridge areas you can visit.

The Pine Valley Resort offers seven cabins for $75 a night for 2 adults, additional guests are $7 per if over the age of five. While I have not stayed over night, this is one place I would love to go back to and stay for a few days. Even if you don’t plan to stay, I recommend dropping by to check out the resort the town of Long Pine. I was able to have a small conversation with one of the owners; Stan. Just from our short talk, I could tell he enjoys running the resort and has so much passion for making it a great place to stay for guests who travel little to many miles away.
