4th of July is a favorite holiday to many individuals in Nebraska. It’s a great holiday to spend time with friends and family, but it’s also a good time to remember what it means to be free in America.

There are several events going on throughout the state to help you enjoy the holiday.

Lincoln, Nebraska- Watch a great display of fireworks at the Uncle Sam Jam which is choreographed to live music. The event begins at 3pm with food and beverage vendors at Oak Park Lake. Plan to arrive early and grab a good seat to watch the fireworks at 10pm.

Omaha, Nebraska- The College Home Run Derby and Firework display will take place at TD Ameritrade Park. If you have not go your tickets for this event, arrive early and get some at the ticket box. Prices are $12 for Adults, $8 for youth and $35 for a 4-pack of tickets. If you have time before the fireworks; I recommend stopping at Goodnights across from the stadium and enjoying some good pizza and an ice cold beverage.
