Take a tour of Nebraska’s largest brewery in Omaha. Lucky Bucket has a nice range of beers from wheat to lager. After you take a tour, sit and enjoy a cold glass of brew while catching up with some buddies. I support this awesome brewery in all their growth opportunities and can’t wait to see where else they will sell their beer in the future.
Last Saturday, I met a friend in Kearney to have lunch at the Thunderhead Brewing Company. Thunderhead is a favorable restaurant and bar that brews their own beer. I had the honey wheat, while my friend had the Grand Cru. Just from how good my beer was, I believe any of their beers would be a good choice.
Thunderhead is more than just beer, it’s a great place to get some pizza or a calzone. My choice is the ThunderZone calzone; the mixture of chicken and alfredo sauce made it delicious.
Various places around Nebraska sell Thunderhead beer. Therefore, if you can’t make it to Kearney you can pick some up at one of the locations across the state to enjoy on a Friday or Saturday night.
