Simply Junkin Market

One of my favorite things about fall time is all the fall events, craft shows and flea markets! It’s always great to stop and smell the pumpkin spice, but it’s also good to stop and support local small businesses and crafters as well.

The Simply Junkin Market is taking place Saturday September 16th, 2017 in Lawrence, Nebraska. They have a lot of great vendors lined up to bring you a wide variety of home decor, gifts for the holiday, jewelry, funky junk and much more. You can check out their Facebook page for more on the vendors and visit their website as well!

Let’s make 2017 the best year for small business owners and local crafters throughout the state. The more you can support local, the more you money stays local to support other small businesses!

Taylor, Nebraska is known as the “Western Gateway to the Calamus.”  Taylor is the county seat and is now the only town left in the Loup County.  Joseph and Josephine Rusho founded the town and named it after their friend Edward H. Taylor.

Dalton Fall Festival

The Dalton Fall Festival is right around the corner; mark your calendars for September 20th-22nd. Come check out the craft fair, Saturday morning parade, watch the mud volleyball tournament and enjoy some pancakes on Sunday morning. This is a great family event for parents and children of all ages. I encourage everyone to come out and support the village of Dalton and meet some of the locals. To plan a trip, check out Dalton’s website for more information: http://daltonnebraska.com/index.html.
